Finance Analyst - Abu Dhabi

Your new role

• Read/review business plans, pitch decks and financial models and highlight key risks and opportunities
• Develop and manage all types of financial model including financial projects, sensitivities, scenarios and evaluation
• Conduct detailed financial analysis on the historical opportunities and projected business plan, understanding their business model, revenue and margin trends etc.
• Understand business and equity valuation and develop the valuation models including different methodologies like cash flow, market
• Prepare research & financial analysis on investment projects
• Prepare presentations for the investment committee and other internal approvals on the opportunities and other documents required for stakeholder reporting on the transactions
• Involvement in all aspects of due diligence on new investments (business analysis, industry thesis, competitive landscape, business/pricing model, detailed financial analysis and financial modelling / deal structuring).
• Support in reviewing and developing the transaction documents and definitive agreements
• Consolidate and analyse financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc), taking into account the company’s goals and financial standing
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis requested by Senior Management
• Support in the internal finance department functions including budget development, investment timelines and cash requirements etc.
• Uphold financial regulations, company policies, and identify potential financial risks.
• Partner and co-ordinate with internal teams and consultants to integrate data and ensure smooth workflow

What you'll need to succeed

• A minimum of 3–5 years of overall experience in financial analysis. Experience in investment banking, deal advisory within a Big 4 firm or well-reputed Consulting Firms is strongly appreciated.
• Proven working experience in preparing complex financial models and summary reports
• Have a bachelor's degree in business or finance, CFA or MBA/MSc is preferable.
• Expert working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and good working knowledge of other MS Office packages
• Adequate working knowledge of budgeting, financial, management reporting, and building financial models
