Hays have partnered with a growing Holding company in Dammam, who are looking for a Finance Director to lead their financial strategy, planning and operations of the organisation.
Your new role
As the Finance Director, you will be building a strong foundation in financial management principles, strategic insight, business acumen and a commitment to ensuring fiscal integrity, sustainable growth, and sound decision-making across businesses. Responsible for all financial matters for the Group and its Subsidiaries.
- Strategic Financial Leadership – Drive group-wide financial strategy, capital allocation, and performance optimisation to support long-term growth.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and business analytics to ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Reviewing and ensuring correctness of transaction, reconciliation and adequacy of internal control.
- Preparation of monthly financial performance report and ensuring the integrity of financial statements
- Coordinating with external auditors and timely finalisation of audited financial statements under full IFRS
- Governance & Compliance – Ensure robust financial controls, statutory compliance, and adherence to audit, tax, zakat and regulatory frameworks across all entities.
- Champion financial integrity, transparency, and ethical standards across all entities.
- Ensure financial risk governance aligns with the Group’s enterprise risk management framework.
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management – Manage liquidity, funding, and banking relationships to maintain optimal capital structure and working capital efficiency.
- Risk & Performance Management – Identify and mitigate financial risks while tracking key business KPIs and operational metrics.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement – Lead the finance team and collaborate with the Board, investors, and business heads to deliver strategic financial insights.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team across entities, ensuring clear succession plans and capability development.
- Partner with business heads to drive profitability, cost optimisation, and strategic decision-making across divisions.
- Present financial insights, risk exposure, and performance dashboards to the Executive Committee, Board and Audit Committee
- Oversee digital finance transformation initiatives (ERP, dashboards, BI tools) to enhance visibility and efficiency.
- Support evaluation of investments, M&A opportunities, and divestments through financial modeling and due diligence.
- Lead financial due diligence, corporate restructuring, and governance enhancements required for IPO readiness and ongoing CMA compliance.
- Ensure all related insurance coverage is in place.
What you'll need to succeed
CA, CPA or ACCA is a must
Minimum 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 8 years in a Group or senior-level finance role within a diversified or multi-entity organisation
Financial Strategy & Analysis – Expert in budgeting, forecasting, capital structuring, and ROI-driven decision-making.
Governance & Compliance – Deep understanding of IFRS/GAAP, audit processes, and regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions
Treasury & Risk Management – Skilled in liquidity management, funding strategies, and enterprise risk oversight.
Strategic Leadership – Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams toward financial and business goals
Executive Communication – Strong board-level presentation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Decision Agility – High accountability with a bias for action, sound judgment, and resilience under pressure.
