Your new company

Our client, a shipping company based in Abu Dhabi is looking to add a Total Rewards Partner to their team!

Your new role

You will essentially be responsible for driving the implementation of a comprehensive and competitive total rewards strategy, in alignment with the business strategy, to support growth and strive for positive impacts on employees’ performance and satisfaction. Alongside this, you will also be responsible for the company payroll and implementation of the HRIS.

Compensation:

  • Perform/supervise the implementation and maintenance of job grading.
  • Maintain/propose evolution of the job profiles catalogue (job grade, base salary range and variable pay percentage).
  • Analyse compensation schemes within the existing pay gaps and propose simplification, harmonization and gap-filling plans.
  • Prepare, launch and lead the annual compensation review campaign (including setting the budget and monitoring it).
  • Inform and advise HRBP's and managers on compensation issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the employment market and total rewards trends.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years in leading total rewards in an international environment.
  • Experience in designing and implementing total rewards programs.
  • Experience in implementing total rewards strategy.
  • Experience in HRIS technologies in a shipping related field.
  • C&B key elements (base compensation components and structure, incentives, benefits, pension schemes, tax) and their possible combinations
  • Job evaluation and grading methodology (preferably Mercer)
  • Previous experience in payroll processing and understanding of tax laws, labour regulations, and compliance requirements related to payroll

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll calculations and records.

  • Business & finance Acumen

  • English & Arabic speaking preferred.
