Procurement Manager - Abu Dhabi, UAE

One of the most trusted thermoplastics providers in the world are on the market for an experienced Procurement Manager for Raw Materials.

Your new role

As the Procurement Manager you will be responsible to cover the management and sourcing of strategic commodities and other raw materials while focusing on the raw materials requirements for all the manufacturing locations for the business. You will be negotiating the contracts, pricing and terms with the global vendors while developing an optimised sourcing strategy.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a similar role in the Petrochemical Industry with minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in managing and handling the sourcing for raw materials (ideally in additives, resin, chemicals and fillers)
• ERP / MRP systems knowledge, SAP knowledge is a must
• BS/BA in Business with a major in Supply Chain Management or BA in Engineering, Six Sigma and/or TPS will be an advantage, CPIM preferred
