Hays have partnered with a growing diversified Investment Group in Dubai who are looking to appoint a Head of Finance with strong experience in the .
The Head of Finance will be a strategic and hands-on financial leader responsible for managing financial operations across its businesses. This includes financial strategy, banking relationships, capital raising, credit facilities, LCs, reporting, compliance, treasury, and risk management.

Your new role

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with group business goals.

• Partner with senior leadership to drive investment decisions, capital allocation, and long-term growth.

• Support M&A activity, joint ventures, and new project evaluations with financial modelling and due diligence.

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Oversee accounting, controlling, and consolidation of group-level financials.

• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements.

• Implement robust financial controls, governance, and risk frameworks across jurisdictions.

Banking, Treasury & Capital Structure

• Lead banking relationships to establish and manage credit lines, LCs, trade finance, and project financing.

• Manage cashflow, liquidity, and working capital for the group.

• Optimise capital structure through a mix of debt, equity, and alternative financing.

• Negotiate and secure favourable terms with banks and financial institutions.

Investment & Portfolio Oversight

• Provide financial evaluation of new projects in energy, technology, and real estate.

• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend corrective actions.

• Support capital deployment, fundraising, and exit planning strategies.

Risk, Tax & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

• Manage operational and financial risks, including FX exposure.

• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel.

Leadership & Team Development

• Build and lead a high-performing finance and treasury team.

• Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and financial discipline across the organisation.

• Mentor and develop finance professionals within the group.

What you'll need to succeed

➡️ 15+ years' progressive experience in Finance, including 8+ years in a senior financial leadership role.
➡️ Experience in the energy, banking and investment group sectors is key.
➡️ Must have prior banking experience with direct exposure to credit lines, letters of credit, trade finance, and project financing.
➡️ Strong knowledge of UAE Financial Regulations, plus proven experience working in European markets.
➡️ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
