Hays is supporting a growing financial institution based in ADGM to hire a Fixed Income Execution Trader. This role sits within an FSRA‑regulated Category 3A firm and focuses exclusively on agency-only execution across fixed income markets, with no proprietary or discretionary trading involved.


The successful candidate will be responsible for executing fixed income transactions for clients and institutional investors while ensuring best execution, market integrity, and full compliance with ADGM Conduct of Business rules. The role also requires strong understanding of interest rate products, credit markets, and broader macroeconomic indicators that influence fixed income performance.


Responsibilities
  • Execute client-directed fixed income trades in line with market best practices
  • Trade a range of fixed income instruments, including sovereign, corporate, and other debt securities
  • Deliver best execution in accordance with ADGM Conduct of Business requirements
  • Monitor interest rate movements, yield curves, credit spreads, and macroeconomic trends
  • Provide timely market insights and portfolio-related feedback to clients
  • Collaborate with analysts, portfolio managers, and operations teams to support client objectives
  • Identify tactical trading opportunities and contribute to fixed income execution strategies
  • Perform trade booking, settlement coordination, and post‑trade operational tasks
  • Maintain accurate trade documentation, records, and reporting
  • Support compliance monitoring, internal controls, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Participate in internal audits and regulatory reviews


Requirements
  • 5–8 years’ experience in fixed income trading or execution within a regulated broker-dealer
  • Proven experience executing fixed income trades across multiple asset classes
  • Strong understanding of interest rate products, credit markets, and fixed income valuation drivers
  • Experience working under ADGM, FCA, or equivalent regulatory frameworks (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg, including fixed income analytics and execution tools
  • Strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and post‑trade controls
  • Ability to analyze macroeconomic and market data to support informed execution decisions
