Hays are working exclusively with an organisation looking to hire an experienced Financial Controller for the Middle East division.

Your new role

• Manage finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare and submit management information, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Review and resolve issues in commercial contracts and ensure all stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations.
• Conduct project risk assessments and identify areas needing regulatory alignment.
• Oversee financial KPIs and refine operational processes to minimise risks and enhance accuracy.
• Work closely with senior management to align financial strategies with company growth objectives.
• Collaborate with global finance teams (UK, Holland, Turkey) to provide real-time financial insights.
• Engage with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure financial clarity in all contracts.
• Report directly to the Middle East Managing Director.

What you'll need to succeed

• 6+ years of experience in finance & accounting
• ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent certification
• Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities
• Process-oriented and results-driven
• Hands-on approach to work
