Finance Manager - Dubai

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of the organisation, overseeing monthly reporting, reviewing tenders and contracts, analysing financial performance, and ensuring effective budgeting and forecasting. This role will also involve overseeing audits and managing inventory to optimise financial efficiency.
Your new role
Monthly Reporting:
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Analyse variances and provide insights to senior management.
- Review of Tenders and Contracts:
- Evaluate financial aspects of tenders and contracts, ensuring profitability and risk management.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to negotiate terms and conditions.
- Financial Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and assess financial performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance financial results.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to set financial targets.
- Create financial forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Audit Coordination:
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and efficient completion of audits.
- Implement audit recommendations and improve internal controls.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimise costs.
- Analyse inventory turnover and implement strategies for improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management, preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficient in financial analysis and performance management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
