The Finance Manager will oversee core financial aspects, ensuring the startup’s financial sustainability and expansion into new opportunities. The ideal candidate is analytical, strategic, and experienced in high-value financial transactions within dynamic industries.

Your new role

Financial Management & Reporting
• Manage day-to-day accounting and ensure timely financial statements under IFRS/UAE regulations
• Oversee VAT filings and liaise with auditors
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment cycles

Planning & Analysis
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly management reports.
• Provide variance analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Support business case preparation for new initiatives or partnerships.

Internal Controls & Processes
• Implement ERP/accounting systems and improve finance workflows.
• Strengthen internal controls and compliance procedures.
• Ensure governance policies are followed.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting (Master’s optional).
• 8–10 years of relevant finance/accounting experience in the UAE (preferably in startups, media, or tech).
• Strong IFRS, VAT, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Hands-on ERP/financial systems experience.
• Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) are a plus, not mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
