Exciting opportunity for a CFO for a leading retail group in Saudi Arabia.

Hays is partnered with a leading consumer goods business in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, drive organisational performance, and oversee all core finance operations. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a senior finance leader to shape the company’s financial direction, enhance commercial decision-making, and contribute to long-term business success.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all finance and accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
  • Lead the development of financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and ongoing performance reviews.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with financial institutions, external auditors, and key partners.
  • Provide the CEO with detailed financial insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Enhance financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks to support future IPO-readiness.
  • Oversee the rollout and optimisation of the ERP system in collaboration with the IT department.
  • Act as a core member of the leadership group responsible for driving the company’s IPO preparation.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of senior-level finance experience within retail/ FMCG/ consumer goods industry.
  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, similar) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams.
  • Based in the GCC, with extensive experience working in the region.
  • Experience leading ERP system implementations and optimising financial processes.
  • Demonstrated track record overseeing finance operations in a rapidly scaling business progressing toward a public listing.
