We are currently assisting a company who specialise in production and trading of minerals with their search for a Senior Accountant to join their already established team in Dubai

Your new role

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, on a day to day basis, working closely with the operations team and interacting with suppliers

Key responsibilities for this role include assisting and the guiding the team on preparation of financial reports, supporting the Manager with budgeting, forecasting, preparation of VAT return and tax reports, developing audit plans and reconciling bank transactions

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position the candidate must have a minimum of a bachelor’s in accounting or finance related subjects, any additional certificates or degrees are an asset (ACCA, CMA, CPA etc.) Candidate must haves:

• Experience working in familiar with similar industries
• Proficiency in Sage X3 software is preferred
• Strong Communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments
